A hand forged Viking cutlery set for the man who says he doesn’t want anything: knife, fork, spoon and eating pick in carbon steel, with twisted handles, packed in a faux leather roll he can hang from his belt. This Christmas gift for him looks like it came from a blacksmith’s fire, because it did.

WHY IT MAKES A GOOD GIFT
Hard to buy for? This is the present that gets picked up and turned over in the hand. The hammer marks are still on the blades, every handle is twisted by hand, and the roll makes it feel like a proper kit, not a box of forks. It suits dads, husbands, boyfriends, brothers, campers, history nerds and anyone who owns a fire pit.
It also fits two anniversaries: 6th (iron) and 11th (steel).

THE FOUR PIECES
Knife: curved blade with a working edge, sharp enough for steak and camp chores.
Fork: two long prongs, the classic medieval shape.
Spoon: deep enough to hold stew.
Eating pick: for spearing food, or the small jobs around a fire.
Each is about 7 in (17-18 cm) long. Forged one at a time, so no two sets are exactly alike.

THE ROLL
Tan faux leather with a stitched pocket for every piece, brass snaps and a loop for a belt or pack.

USE IT AT
Camp, Renaissance faire, LARP and reenactment, medieval or Viking themed dinners, Halloween costumes, and any table where you want people to ask “where did you get that?”

MADE IN WAZIRABAD, PAKISTAN .
Wazirabad has been a cutlery town for generations, and these are made there by blacksmiths,By Bumpy bazar.

LOOK AFTER IT LIKE A CAST IRON PAN
This is real carbon steel, not stainless. Wash by hand, dry straight away, and rub on a thin coat of cooking oil afterwards. Do that and it lasts for decades. Leave it wet and it rusts. Never put it in the dishwasher.
